Female Adoptee DOB 12-31-65 in Brevard County Florida (Cocoa, Rockledge or Titusville) searching for ANY member of my birthfamily.

birthmom was 15 yrs old (born in late spring of 1950) and the youngest of 16 children. She was from a Southeastern state. Her father died of cancer in 1962 or 1963. After her father died she moved to Brevard County Florida to live with her older married sister. She stayed there for about a year and then returned home.

She returned to Breavard County Florida when she was 5 months pregnant with me (July or August of 1965?) to live with her sister again. The sister became her legal guardian. I was born 12-31-65 (supposedly) by C-Section. I believe the hospital was Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge Florida. The attending physician was Dr. James Honig (he is still in practice)

The interview for the non identifying information was conducted by the State in March of 1966 (3 months after I was born) My Birth Aunt gave the information, not my Birthmother. My Birth Aunt stated that my birthmom was "back" in school (in the 10th grade) and was doing well.

birthmom was 5'5" and weighed 145 lbs. She was caucasian with dark brown hair, hazel eyes and a medium complexion. She had a large frame. While pregnant with me she had low blood pressure problems, a kidney infection and gained a considerable amount of weight. My Birth grandmother had emphysema and asthma.

My birthmom was very active in sports, and loved reading and singing. She and her family were Babtist and she was supposedly very involved in the babtist church.

My BF was 19 yrs old and from birthmom's home town. He had 2 sisters, one of whom had an excellent singing voice. He was described as a "good type boy" He had quit school but was thinking of going back. He was birthmom's first and only boyfriend at the time. She had known him all her life. His family was also babtist. He was tall and slender with a medium complexion, black hair and large dark eyes.

The consent for adoption was signed by birthmom on January 3 1966. I was given to Aparents directly from the hospital. Final judgement signed on Sept 13 1966. Private atty for Aparents was George Ritchie.
