I have been doing some research on open and closed adoptions..
Well....
It is really hard to know where to begin...
Bear with me....
There was a lady I was speaking to the other day and she was talking about open adoption. She said that the adoptive couple is able to make changes to the terms of the adoption.
My pastor and his wife have adopted 2 girls and they are very happy, They were a big influence in my wanting to make some changes. I understand how you were feeling at the time of birth . But as we all know she is not little anymore.
My pastor's wife even suggested that she be a middle person to accept any correspondence. Pictures,letters,etc.
They have an open adoption with the two girls. She talks to the birthmom when needed.
She sends them pictures as they grow up. I know we have not ever done that before but if you are willing there is still time to make changes......
God has been so good to me over the years. even though it was a very painful decision to make.
I am mainly curious as to how she is doing.
Hoping that all is well.
