Hi, I havent posted in a long time but I read a lot. I am an adoptee that recently located my birthmom, her daughter, my birthfather, his 2 children, 4 uncles and 2 aunt. I am biracial and have met all of my bdads people but my bmom is reluctant. I have helped 2 people locate their birthfamilies and have been doing a lot of speaking out in church etc. I did call a local reporter who attends my church to do an article on adoption and she may tell my story which I hope to include how important it is for us to have access to our information!!!! I never thought of asking it to be put in the church bulletin but I will do that also. I know a man who does a radio show and I will ask him also. This is really exciting. I have started writing a book which I hope will be completed in the next few months. I really feel it is important to get the word out also. Does anyone know of any support groups or meetings or conferences in Massachusetts. I have been looking to speak as was suggested to me but to no avail. Just thought I would be a participant today instead of just a viewer.
