I am looking to adopt I live in California any info would be helpful. I am looking to adopt two children under the age of six. If anyone know of and agency please forward information. I would consider international adoption as well. I prefer not to travel to another country to pick up my children. I would appreciate any help of useful information anyone might have. in CA, many counties have relinquishment type programs. if you become licensed as a fost/adopt home, you can submit your homestudy to this program. sometimes when mothers make plans last minute, the hospital calls dpss, who shows up with multiple profiles for the family to pick from. the fees are VERY small and reasonable. you may want to call your county and see if they have a program like this.
