Can anyone tell me the rough timeline for costs? We have some saved up, enough to get started. It would help to know what some of you paid, and when you had to pay it.

We paid homestudy fees, fingerprints, application fees up front (maybe about 2k?). And then we paid everything else in one BIG check at placement. Usually they want the rest of the money at match (at least that's how our agency does it) but our daughter was born 24 hours after we were matched. So they just had us write them a check at the hospital. We (and the social worker from the agency) hated that.
