A question regarding the tax credit
I have two special needs children that were placed with me this month for adoption. Dh and I incurred expenses prior to the children being placed with us beginning in May 2005. Can we apply for the tax credit on our 2005 taxes, or do we have to wait until the adoption is legally finalized?
