FYI - Kansas Adoptive Couple Retreat

Attention Adoptive Couples
If you have adopted a child from the public child welfare system…
YOU ARE INVITED
To the Strong and Stable Families Adoptive Couples Retreat
It’s FREE, FUN and it’s not just for the women. Men, I promise you’ll have fun too!!!
What: The Adoptive Couples Retreat is a two day relationship education program that will help you remember why you married!
It’s a chance to have fun without the kids in a beautiful hotel. The meals will be catered and your hotel room will be provided for Friday and Saturday evening. A 100$ stipend for child care or other expenses will be given to families when both spouses attend the entire workshop.
See the following agenda.
When: The retreat starts Friday, March 7 at 5:00 p.m.
The last activity will end at 3:00 Sunday, March 9th.
Where: Spring Hill Suites Marriot
One Riverfront Plaza Suite 300
Lawrence, KS 66044
Telephone (785) 841-2700
Why: Kansas University and a partnership of child welfare agencies received a federal grant to offer retreats to adoptive parents. Parenting is hard work. This is an opportunity for you to renew your marriage and have some fun.
How: CALL OR EMAIL Bethany Roberts as soon as possible. We have a VERY limited number of slots.
