For those of you that have done this, share the time frames it took to find and match with a child?

Esp interested in Sibling groups

I know it's all baffling with bull poopie,

THis is what we were given as a time frame, along with being handed a book of profiles with over 1400 kids, being told, chances of not finding "that child/ren" in that book, near impossible.

Just didn't finish by saying, you'll match but HAHA already not availble anymore.

Ok we were told, If we have the process done, realistically 6-7 weeks, but they are "given" 4 months to do it. Clearances seem to hold up the process in their timing. These folks don't seem to enjoy this part of the process, and seem to like to start, finish and get the parents out there asap. Even saying so.

Ok.. End of March *latest* they told us Cleared to procede to find "our child/ren*

Seriously... how long? I seem to see a lot of 2 year situations etc. But they keep encouraging us saying no, we are going to do everything we can to have placement for you as your goals are, by the time school starts. Meaning August/Sept time frame.

I have asked to why they say this when the system is so slow for so many others saying 2 years. They said they don't get paid, till the placement. At least I understand their want to "rush" things.

So everyone please, bring some life to he forums, share!!!!!
