OT: Diaper bag for twins

Well, ours are virtual twins They are 3.5months apart...one domestic and one china So our girls are 10 months and 14 months and I'm trying to find the perfect diaper bag for 2 babies. Both are still on formula...so we're talking lots of bottles, diapers, snacks, etc.

Do you guys have any suggestions? We have 5 kiddos (and we are always on the go) and I have yet to find the perfect bag so I'm wondering what you guys have found to be perfect. Thanks!!

Keep a plastic bin in the back of the vehicle that has extra wipes, clothes, diapers, pacifiers, water bottles, forumula mix, etc. Then only load what you need while shopping, at the park, etc in the bag. You will have the supplies you need while you are away from the house, but you won't have to carry it.

I honestly use a tote bag that my MIL once gave me instead of a diaper bag. I have a 25 month old and a 6 month old (and I'm 7 month pregnant) - so far the tote bag works wonders. It is roomy enough to hold bottles, formula (LOVE the container by Sassy that holds 4 different seperate servings!), water bottles, sippy cups, diapers, wipes, snacks, burp cloth, toys, etc. It is also not too big that it looks ridiculous, LOL. It has one big compartment, with smaller pockets along the inside that I use for binkies, spoons, etc, and then it has another pocket on the outside that I put my keys, cell phone, and wallet in. It works quite well and I don't think I'll have to get a bigger one when #3 arrives soon.

I had a Lands End Backpack to keep my hands free. I was able to take all my bottles, wipes, diapers, and extra clothes. I am now doing the bin thing in the back of the car and use a smaller large purse. Just take what I need.

I had several diaper bags during my twins' infancy and toddlerhood - and never found one that I *loved*! I did buy a small-ish duffle type bag that I used for weekends away - lots of pockets and such. For around town, I had a big regular old diaper bag from Target.

I don't have twins and mine aren't as close as your kids (only 15 months apart) but I use an LL Bean diaper bag that I love (Diaper Bag: Shoulder Bags and Packs at L.L.Bean). I've bought other bags because I wanted something new but I've always tossed them aside and pick up my trusty LL Bean bag. I've used it every day for 2 1/2 years and it still looks brand new.
You might also look at Land's End because they might have something to suit your needs.
Good luck.

Land's End used to have two sizes of diaper bag, one that it considered suitable for twins. I don't think that they make the larger size now, but you might call to find out for sure. I actually own one of the larger size, even though I have only one child, because I figured I'd need to haul more "gear" around when touring in China.
