Question Multiples from Liberia

Hello! Has anyone hear adopted multiples from Liberia? We are planning on adopting two at once, also probably using Acres of Hope. If anyone has any information regarding adopting two from Liberia or Acres of Hope, please email me!

I would also love to hear about this exact thing -- perhaps instead of a pm people could reply directly here? Or pm me too?

I'd suggest posting this question in the General Africa section, and also perhaps in the Ethiopia section (I've seen similar questions asked/answered in the Ethiopia section as there is no Liberia section). I know people on here have used Acres of Hope, although I don't know what they thought.

Ethiopia also allows multiples, if that interests you.

If you find Liberia insufficiently stable, consider Ethiopia. There are many sibling groups of all ages available in Ethiopia.

Hi, I am new to this, but when I saw you question I felt a need to reply. We recently adopted 2 sibilings from Liberia. Our son was 5 and our daughter was 2 1/2. They were refered to us May 2005 and were home Nov. 2005. They are biological sibilings, partial orphans of the recent civil war. Our experience was great and the kids have transitioned into our family very well. The cost is somewhat reduced when you do two at once and with our agency our children were escorted home. Our experince has been wonderful and if we adopt again I plan on doing the same thing.
