I'm a foster parent and I have 5 kids, ages 5,5,3,9 months, and 2 months. And I'm single. A little crazy, yes, but I love my kids. I'm tired of riding the roller coaster of foster care and I also want to adopt two more at the same time. My daughters are 5 and 9 months, and I want two between their ages.

As far as going to the store goes, it is a bit nuts. I always go to Wal-mart which is next door to Sam's club, so I use one of the big baskets from there with two front seats. My 9 month old and three year old ride up front, the 2 month old goes in the back in her infant seat, and the two 5 year old have to keep one hand on the basket at all times. They know the rules, and they all behave pretty well...most of the time! Of course we all have our days. If the three year old is not in the basket, he has to wear a "leash" because he likes to take off running. Of course it would be much quicker without all of the kids, but I love them to pieces.
