I found this agency on the web Adoption Assistance, Inc and was wondering if anyone has heard about them and what all they do.You can send me a pm.
Things have changed so much since our last adoption 5 years ago. At that time a lawyer doing private adoptions contacted us for our daughter and we were in the process of adopting our son through Dept of Human Services. We do still have our Foster/Adoption license but we have been "burned out emotinally" on the placements that were "sure things" and have been reunited. (I know that is the main goal it is just very hard when a toddler is moved to our home from a former foster home and permanencey is going to be in 30 days and they will "supposedly" be asking for termination. Then 6 mo later the little one goes home.) Our top of expense limit is 10,000.00 we are hoping to adopt a biracial or african american little one. Our son is 6(almost 7) he is half hispanic, 8th Indian, and rest CC our daughter is 5 (almost 6) she is half AA and half CC.
Any help would be wonderful. I am starting to think that we may not be able to do this finanicially.
