My husband and I are starting the adoption process and are trying to identify a reliable agency or adoption attorney that does a lot of placements of AA/Biracial Infants. Ideally, we are looking for someone whose up- front fees are low and fees paid are refundable or transferable in the event of a disrupted placement. We live in DC but will travel to another state.

If you have had a good experience with an agency that works with non-residents, please PM us the details.

If you haven't had a good experience with a particular agency/attorney, I would appreciate knowing that as well so that we don't waste precious resources or time.

To the OP, why did you pick these states specifically? Sorry, we have adopted twice internationally and this state stuff has my head spinning
