Thumbs up Great hair article for CC's with AA children

Actually this is just a great feel good article about black hair period. I don't post often, but my mom and I just thought this article from the Atlanta Journal Constitution was wonderful. It's about a CC man who does his African daughter's hair wonderfully and beautifully. I'm AA and I think if and when I ever have a daughter,I'll use the products he uses.

Enjoy!! (I hope I'm pasting this link correctly and also I'm hoping I'm not breaking any rules by posting it.)

That's the greatest article! Thanks so much for sharing it. The time and effort that father puts into his daughter's hair is an outward example of the depth of his love for her. I was so impressed by him.

What a great article. We're CC and have an AA 2 yr old FD who has amzing hair. I love to braid hair anyway, but learning how to do special braids and designs is turning out to be fun. Right now I can separate it into four pieces and either braid or twist it. I'm working on doing more and she sits there the whole time I do her hair.

Thanks for posting that. I will hopefully be a father of an AFA girl in April, and this article inspired me for the first time rather than create fear and uncertainty around the hair issue.
