Hi Shirleyville,

My name is Robin and I have just read all the posts. When it comes to telling your biological family about yourself, I guess my way of looking at it all, is that it is the truth that sets us free. Adoption has been made to seem like such a dirty shameful thing, and no wonder with all the lies told to "protect" everyone. How can we tell where we are going, if we do not know where we have been. It simply amazes me that everything was right in your own backyard.

If the truth is not so important, than why do we, who are missing pieces, search so diligently?

I hope that you are able to meet everyone that you need to meet, and that all goes well. Keep us all posted on this saga called life. I am enriched by your posts.
