Is there anyone out there that has a "membership" with Ancestry.com that could look something up for me?
Thanks!

opinions of Ancestry.com

For those who have memberships at Ancestry.com, how useful of a tool have you found it to be? I have browsed the free sections, searched in family trees, and found some of that useful. But I was wondering, if you can't find a person in one of their family trees, is there a good chance that with a membership you will be able to find some sort of information?

Just wondering, because I've thought about joining but I have my doubts as to whether it's worth it.

Thanks!

I joined and use the census data. It has been the best tool I have found in filling out my family tree. I also joined Genealogy library.com and have found genealogies of some of my lines. It is a fun hobby.

ancestry.com

I have an ancestry.com membership as well. It has helped me find my father's family. I use the census data, and I also have a membership to look up info in newspapers, etc. I would happily look up anything for anyone.
