I don't understand why I can't get more non-identifying records from FLA I sent a written request and got hardly anything, just My Mother was 21, and from a southern state. I didn't get any on bio-dad or any other bio-family!

State records? I know many don't collect much on anything but the mother. Your bmom may not have named your bfather.

Try the agency that handled your adoption. They most likely had social workers that did extensive interviews. My non-id from the agency was 10 pages long.

Thanks for the reply. I did try the agency. They say the adoption was closed and the record number is not known, I don't know what that means. My Mother would be 63 now if still alive. I feel time is running out.

Try one of the search angels. My adoption was closed, and in 67. My agency found mine! What a cop out. There are ways.

My adoptive Dad has passed away last month. He was my hero. I am in a bad situation(relationship) and my dream is to turn over a new leaf back in FLA. I don't have any more ties in this area
