someone to talk to

im a 51 year old male adoptee who has always seemed to be my worse enemy. i last posted here in 06 things got better for awhile now worse then ever, seems useless to talk to anyone who does not understand adult adoption issues. have not been able to fine anyone.....

I find that even the most well-meaning non-adoptees are just 'clueless'.... And, some adoptees I know are clueless too -- they seem to be the ostrich with their head in the sand and their butt up in the air...

We're not clueless here -- whatever you want to talk about, I'd bet that someone here has had some experience with it....

I hope you'll feel like you're able to open up and share here.

If you are looking for a therapist or counselor, contact Bromanchik on this site. She really knows adoption issues and is a counselor who can also find you a counselor who deals with adoption issues. She is a great resource.

Can you share what issues you face? You will find others who have dealt with similar issues here. At the very least, we can listen.
