Tomorrow Is The Start Of Answers
I'm leaving in the morning for my reunion. I'm nervous, excited, jittery and happy all at once. I will see and hug all the members of my bfamily. Relationships will be started, some could end. Whatever is out there, I waited almost a half-century for this day. I wouldn't trade it for anything. To everyone contemplating searching, I say go for it! To everyone searching, I hope you have this moment too. We as adoptee's deserve this moment. It's time that the secrecy shrouding adoption records be lifted and that we are allowed the chance to celebrate ourselves and roots. My chest is pounding, but oh dear lord, I wouldn't trade this moment! Thanks to everyone who has given me advice in the past few weeks. I'll let you all know next week how the reunion was..

Enjoy this day.....My first meeting with my birthmom really made me feel complete. I can't wait to hear ALL about it when you come back. Take time to breathe and take care of yourself. It's OK to feel ANYTHING that you feel. Come here and vent if you need to... Hope to catch you in chat as well. sal
