Nearly there??
Helping my partner "search" for his bmother. We have found what we believe to be his buncle address and phone number.
So, what to do now? Phone, write? Be honest in any contact with this man as to who we are? Or try to find out if he is who we think he might be by being less than open with him? This is scary........ |

It depends what info you have...
You could call him and tell him you are doing family research (all true) and ask if he has a brother named X or whatever your question is. If he says yes, ask the next question on your list like did your brother live in X town in X year? If it looks like it is a match then ask him if he will give his brother a message for you...you never know he may just give you his phone number...or be quite happy to pass on a message. He may know about the adoption and figure out who you are which would make it even easier. Kind regards, Dickons |
