To everyone who read a couple of years back about my disasterous series of events with my birthmother...hello; and to those of you who don't know my story...I'll give you a brief synopsis...found birmother with help of searcher, contacted her, she called me back and said she never wanted anything at all to do with me and that I should never contact her at all again.....it broke my heart to hear her say these things, but 6 months later, got the courage to reach out to one of my 1/2 sisters from her, and even got to know her, 4 months later, she told my other 1/2 sister to call me, which she did, we all were getting along very well, and then birthmom found out, and the 1st sister that I had contacted told birthmom it was all the other sister's fault, so birthmom practically disowned little sister.
Then, my little sister and I had a cooling off period for about a year, and 2 months ago, she called me to say that she wanted to be really sure that she wanted to have a relationship with me, because she didn't want to hurt me. So, we've been talking on the phone weekly, regular emails, and we may visit each other soon....just when I thought there was no chance of having any kind of friendship with any of them, I was wonderfully surprised. The other sister still hasn't contacted me again; I don't know why she did what she did, but then we all make mistakes in life, and my door is always open for her too...as far as our brother, and birthmother, they still want nothing to do with me. Oh well, they're loss...life's too short to be unhappy. I am just so glad to have my sister as part of my life, she is a truly wonderful person.

That sounds great - really happy for you and admire your outlook on life. I too am in limbo wondering if we'll ever get in touch again... i'm so happy for you!!! =)
