Why isn't there a "Where do you start without birth names?!"

You have to a name in order to search for someone! WHY WON'T ANYONE TELL ME WHERE TO START LOOKING WITHOUT BIRTH PARENTS NAMES?!

I'm not for sure exacty what you are asking, do you want to search for your birth parents or do you hope they are searching for you. You must narrow it down first if you are to succeed. Perhaps what you are asking is,"You have to have a name in order to search for someone. why won't anyone tell me where to start looking without birth parents name". If this is true you may need a search angel or Private Eye. One is expensive while one is not. There are birth indexes you can view if you know the date of birth. I wish you the best of luck during your search.

Have you asked your parents for the name of the agency that supported the adoption? Did they have the paperwork with names on it? Sometimes the answer is closer than you think.

Ann,

I KNOW WHO, & THE NAME OF HIS LAW FIRM that represented them. He is dead now and his firm is still in practice. I spoke to him before he died, 7/13/01 at his house and he wouldn't tell me anything. The reason for the house call was because I was back home for a copy of the original birth certifcate a copy of it and to snoop at the library's microfilm of the newspaper, which didn't prove fruitful!
The other reason I was comfortable in the house call was because he and his wife were personal friends of my mom & dad. I remember them and I was 7 when we moved here. I received that original birth certificate and you thought I received a million dollars! I FINALLY knew what time I was born & WHO delivered me!!!! HE was MY MOM'S DOCTOR WHEN WE LIVED UP THERE!!!! I visited him also and asked questions and he remembered mom and dad and said to tell them hello! I was the first baby adopted out of that hospital. You'd think they'd remember SOMETHING or were bound by law not to disclose anything! (Probably no doubt the latter!) I've heard of people slipping up, why can't they SLIP UP FOR ME?! LOL!!!!

Thank You Kune!
Annie

Is there anywhere for the BIRTHPARENTS to list when they placed a baby out for adoption?!
