I'm not for sure exacty what you are asking, do you want to search for your birth parents or do you hope they are searching for you. You must narrow it down first if you are to succeed. Perhaps what you are asking is,"You have to have a name in order to search for someone. why won't anyone tell me where to start looking without birth parents name". If this is true you may need a search angel or Private Eye. One is expensive while one is not. There are birth indexes you can view if you know the date of birth. Have you tried to goggle your birthdate. Alot of parents dont know about this site and they maybe looking somewhere else for you.

Have you asked your parents for the name of the agency that supported the adoption? Did they have the paperwork with names on it? Sometimes the answer is closer than you think.
