Ahhhh summertime....
In the hustle and bustle of the beginning of summertime, school ending, planning trips, camps for the kids etc, I wanted to take a minute to remember the best moments of summer. Back before we were grown ups and parents and had lazy summer days...
What are your best memories of summertime? Mine would be my early teen years, spending days at the beach with everyone in town ( I lived in a very small community) and then at night hanging out on our patio and playing flashlight tag until late in the night with all the kids on the block.

Eating ice cream floats at the A&W root beer drive in. Just a perfect summer feeling.

Playing flashlight tag with all the kids in the neighborhood. We were able to spread out over several yards in our allotment. We got eaten up by mosquitoes, but had so much fun chasing each other in the dark of night!

Im not an adoptee but thanks for the moment I got to travel back in time. My best memories were being at the other end of the street with all the other kids just as the sun was setting and hearing the faint sounds of lawn mowers turning off as all the moms started calling for the kiddos. We would run so hard and fast for one last trip down the street which we were sure was 2 miles. (maybe 200 yds)
