Need help with contact letter

Hi everyone! Anyone have a sample of a contact letter from an adult male adoptee to a birth father that may or may not have known of his existence?

Thanks--The father should be around 54 so he's not elderly.

I appreciate any help.

Kim

I knew the last name I was born with and sent letters out to people with the same last name in the area around where I was born. I put some generic background information such as the year of my birth but not my actual birthday. Your situation seems a bit different. I guess you could inquire about your birthmother and see what response he has.
