Hi guys

So if u check out my previous posts, you'll see I don't hear from my birth mother at all - haven't seen her in 3 or 4 years. I decided I would search for my birth father and contacted the adoption agency who sent me a form to fill out. When I sent it back they called me to say they wouldn't have enough info to work with and could I contact my birth mother.

I texted her to ask if she knew his DOB i didn't ask how she was or anything. About an hour later she phoned me. I was so nervous I didn't know whether to answer the phone or not. Anyway I did and we chatted for about ten mins about how our families were and she said she didn't know too much about him.

I asked if I could ask her a question and she said yes. I asked why we hadn't seen each other for so long and was she happy with the situation. I said I was sorry for putting her on the spot. She said it was just the way it had went. I just said "ok" and there was silence. I said I had tried to sort things out but never heard from her and she said she'd heard through a relative that I thought she wasn't talking to me and she kept her distance.

Anyway I said "Look, we haven't spoken on the phone for 3 years, and we needn't speak again but I want to just sort a few things out, where do you want to go from here? Do u want to leave things the way they are. it's fine if you do" and she interupted me and said she'd love to meet up again and she'd love me to meet her new boyfriend

i'm kinda shocked and I wonder if she really meant it - she has no phone credit and said when she has credit on her phone she'll text me again and we can organise something.

I just really hope she does and i'm not left hanging on again. this mightn't seem like much - but if you've read my last posts, you'll understand!!

Gosh! Who knows what will/can happen. Hopefully it'll start soon for the both of you. It sounds to me like it has been too long. Take care and best of luck to you.

Hi B price - remember me from the chat room?? I had wanted to search for birth father - so i decided to go for it... we'll see what happens. thanks a million
