Hi,

I am an adoptee who has been in contact with my natural mother for 18 years. She was also adopted and has been in touch with her first family. I am familiar with adoption and the search and reunion process. Like you, it has been a large part of my life.

As part of a doctoral course I am conducting a small qualtitive study on adoption. I need your help to tell people how it really is!

Hi and thank you to everyone for your help. The information is so enlightening.

Here is an update - I have a survey that is for adult adoptees who have been in contact with a birth relative.

I will be posting one designed for those searching as well in the near future.

I am also interested in having you visit my myspace account and post anything adopted related (pictures, poems, anything you think is important...) on my adoption blog. This is another data collection method I am using. If you have suggestions I am always willing to listen carefully.
