My Search...in Colorado

Your adoptive parents obviously love you and there is some reason why they don't want to talk about the adoption with you. Have you told them how much you love them and will never leave them (if that is how you feel)? Reassure them them that they are your REAL parents and you have only a natual curiosity to know your roots. Have you read any books on adoption? Have your adoptive parents? Because it is common knowledge that we adoptees have a natural curiosity to learn our roots and it is a disservice to us to have secrets and lies.

This is just my opinion.
