My Bmom is going to be here any minute....
for our first face to face. I am a nervous wreck!! I feel so weird like this shouldn't be happening but it is!!! My husband and children are here with me. SO strange!!

It well amazingly well. When she and her husband got here it was very natural. We hugged and then things just flowed. I wouldn't say we had a "connection" like everyone has mentioned but we never felt uncomfortable or awkward like strangers would. That was weird. We didn't really talk about too much where I was concerned as far as being given up. It was more of a get to know each other type deal. I had made her an album of me from the age of 4 months thru now with pictures of my daughter also. She cried when she looked thru it. She doesn't speak to her children ( and I don't thnk she intends on telling them about me) or her mother. She remained very close to her father(who she says forced her to give me up) until he passed away at the age of 59. Her parents ended up divorced as did she right after the birth of her daughter who is 5 years younger than I am. She looks like me alot but is actually shorter which no one ever thought was possible as I am VERY short!!! She wears her hair practically shaved because we have thick, course, curly frizzy hair which is a bear to take care of!! I really liked her. She has emailed me since saying that she will call me this weekend. She wants to get together for an early Thanksgiving so I can meet one of her brothers who wants to meet me. Meanwhile my amom is totally freaking out about this whole thing now that I met her.
