i am new to this group. for the past 3 months i have ventured out to search for my birth family, i had no idea how absolutley consuming this would be. i have registered with alma,issr,find me,adoption.com and florida adoption reunion registry. i was adopted from the childrens home society in miami, florida. i was born 3-21-68 and my adoption was finalized on nov.5th 1969. jack m. fink was the attorny. i have my non-id, mother was 18 when i was born. i was born in homestead, florida, dade county. my mother was an only child. to futher my search i need to find out what my birth name is and the hospital i was born in. if anyone has any ideas or a birth index for dade county 1968 please let me know, or you have any suggestions as how to get this info. i feel like i'm in a dead end but i'm perservering to see this through. thank you everyone

I hope you are able to find who you are looking for and the answers you want. I'm a reunited adoptee who understands your "compulsion" in searching and locating... they were all I could think about... before AND after in the beginning. Be kind to yourself... take care of yourself........it's a roller coaster ride... lots of emotional ups and downs.......good luck... sal
