Have you registered with the TN adoption registry? I would recommend doing this.

Also, were you placed with your adoptive family via an adoption agency? If so, try contacting that agency and speaking to them as well. They may have some helpful information.

Here are some links & other info. I think may be useful for you:

http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill...tennessee.html

In Tennessee, adult adoptees (age 25) may request the Department of Human Services to attempt to locate their birth parent(s) and seek consent to the release of identifying information. If the birth parent objects, the information will not be released. If the Department is unable to locate the birth parent(s), identifying information will be released.

UPDATE:
birth siblings may be reunited at age 18
Tennessee Department of Human Services
Post-Adoption Services
400 Deaderick Street
Nashville, TN 37219-1403

http://www.adopting.org/adoptions/te...resources.html

Check out those resources & see what you find out. Apparently in TN adoptees age 25 + can have the state try and locate birth family. That's promising!

Hope that helps...

Nicole
