Is anyone watching the documentary with Rosie O'Donnell about gay and lesbian couples with adopted children? It's amazing - I'm looking for the name of the documentary online as I watch because I turned it on part of the way through.
The documentary is following Rosie O'Donnell and hundreds of other gay and lesbian couples with children on a cruise especially for these couples and their families. It highlights the stories of several couples - how they adopted their children, their struggles, stories from their children, etc. It's brought tears to my eyes several times. A majority of the couples have adopted, but many have been foster parents who eventually adopted or chose surrogacy. I think this documentary is beautiful - I think that it's presenting some tough topics in a positive and truthful light. The couples featured really, truly appreciate the blessing that adoption brings, and that, for me, is what's so awesome. Whether you support gay and lesbian adoption or not, it's still great to see a couple who is thankful for the gift of their child. FYI - the documentary is called "All Aboard: Rosie's Family Cruise" and premiered on April 6th. Since it's on again today I'm guessing it'll be on again at least once or twice, so try and catch it. Have a good week - the sun is out and the weather is sloooooowly getting nicer! Nicole

I know! I got teary eyed, too. It was so cool to see the love those couples had for their kids - and vice versa.

I don't have cable. I wish I did. I saw a small snippet on the news about the cruise. It seemed great.
