Welp friends,

Wrote a 5 page letter yesterday and hand wrote it out this afternoon.. Going in the mail tommorow morning with pictures of me as a kid and the current familia..Didnt get any news from sis or a letter so im going ahead as many of you suggested since I've been ready to pursue this.
Takes 5-7 days for letter to get there.. so we are looking into a month before I get any response. Going to be a LONG month.....

Hoping that this lady- the one out of 5 that didnt respond- is HER..

This letter is from the heart about moi and my childhood and my gratitude for life and for her, my birthmother. Added a paragraph at the end from my father- the man deserves to be named a Saint someday
We'll see how it turns out this time around and if she'll be responsive. No expectations that she will but it sure would be terrific... And at least Ive said what I had to say from the heart in hopes that this somehow brings her the peace that she very much deserves...

Passport application is a done deal- waiting for the mail to get it!- 6-9 weeks they say..
Lets hope a trip to Poland is warrranted- Id love to go back and visit my family as well as enter reunion. Definately not betting on it in the very near future..

Thanks everyone for all your support and encouragement.. I couldnt have gotten this far without all of you and your friendship!

Yvonne

Thinking of starting a journal like many of you have suggested- so maybe that will come about soon too..

Six,

You know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will pray to Saint Jude for you (saint of hopeless causes, right?) and maybe this will not be hopeless after all. I thank you for all the support you have given me. You are an incredibly warm and supportive person. Anyone who gets lucky enought to talk with you in the chat has a friend for life. Good luck, my dear!! My your deepest wishes be filled!!

Love, Carolyn

You did it!! Now the waiting and running to the mailbox begins. But we are all right here with you every step of the way.

It really takes courage to mail a letter into the "unknown." But even the act of sending it can bring a kind of peace. It's now in her hands and whatever she decides to do you have the satisfaction of knowing that you set her mind at ease about what kind of life you have had and showed her by the photos you sent what a wonderful family you have.

I will pray too that your wait is a very short one and that you will be making a reunion trip to Poland very soon!

Hugs
Snuffie
