Adoption Support Group, Chicagoland, western suburbs
Hi from Jody Moreen, I facilitate an adoption triad support group in Illinois at my church, Faith Evangelical Covenant Church in Wheaton, IL. The group just meets at the church but is my independent ministry as an adoptee. We meet the 3rd Thursday of every month from 7-9:00pm and the church is on the corner of Butterfield Rd (also called Rt. 56 ) and Lakeview Dr. across the St. from Herrick Lake Forrest Preserve. Our group is an informal sharing group , a safe place to share adoption experiences, concerns, issues, explore adoption search for birth familes and reunion issues. A lending library of adoption books and resources available at meetings. No fees, free parking and a free-will offering is taken.
