I found out the Dept. of Health and Human services has all of my dad's adoption records, they said it's all of the important info about his birth parents, I called them to tell them I'm searching for them and they said my dad has to be the one to contact them for the records cause he is the adoptee, me and me dad aren't getting along that good now cause of some things that I was supossed to get from his adoptive grandma that he didn't give me. How do I get his records if I'm not talking to him to tell him, I told the people that we aren't on speaking terms. They said that he has to be in the adoption registry I gave them the info they need about his BP that I know. What am I gonna do I'm real close to finding them, she said to give her his number and she will call him about it.

If you really cannot talk to him yourelf about it, maybe let her call if she said she would. Otherwise, it does have to be him since he is the adoptee.

Has your father expressed a desire to know information regarding his adoption?

What are your reasons for wanting to do this, if the two of you are not speaking? Did he ask you to do this?

She is gonna call him and talk to him, I finally called him myself and broke the ice with him.

He wants to find them he tried about 10 yrs ago, and gave up. I decided to try to find them on my own, he doesn't care if I do. I finally broke the ice with him and talked to him. The lady gonna call him about it and send him the records.
