I am brand new to this site but am very excited to see if I can find out anything about my birth family. Let me start off by saying I am 34 with three beautiful children of my own. It is so nice to have a blood relative!!! I do, however, know I am ready to really search hard. My case, however, is a little difficult because I was born in a hospital in Lynchburg, VA, but adopted thru Childrens Home in Greensboro NC. SO I am not too sure where to start, and who to turn to.

I contacted CHS before my wife and I decided to try and have a baby to get all my Non-ID info. It is really thorough, so I hope it will help. I am happy to talk about the information in private with someone, but I am not sure what to do now that I have the Non-ID info.

What is my next step? I live in Nashville, TN now so it is hard to go to the courthouse or wherever I need to go to look up info, but I was hoping that there may be an angel there to help me.
