Confidential Intermediary???
My mother gave her son up for adoption in 1970. He found us about 4 years ago. It has been the best 4 years of my life!!!!!! He is just wonderful. He is a sheriff in Oklahoma and he and I are just alike. He is the splitting image of my mother and her family. I talk to him at least once a week and he calls my mom on almost a daily basis! I got married about a month ago and it was so amazing to be able to have him be a part of that with me. My mom told me when I was a teenager that she had given him up, but I never thought in a million years he would be a part of our lives. They entire family took him into there arms and love him like he has been here all along. My mom is happier than ever and she has just had this glow to her for the last 4 years!! My father is not his birthfather, but treats him as if he was his own. My dad says that he can't imagine him not being in his life. It's just wonderful!! I hope that many of you get to experience this they way we have.
Which leads me to my question, my mom would like to become a confidential intermediary to help people find there birthfamilies, but we are having trouble figuring out how to go about it. Does anyone know how you become a confidential intermediary???
