Thanks for the answers & support

Thanks to everyone who provided answers, ideas & support on how to continue to build a relationship with my bmom. This was the first time I've posted and it's so good to know that people care and are williing to share their very personal experiences.

To those bparents who responded and are in the process of making contact with their bchildren, I would say that even if the initial reaction you receive after the first contact isn't as warm as you may have hoped, I believe that deep down, we all want to have some sense of our roots.
