Joined A Health club today

I Joined A health club today, thought it was time to get into shape Filled out all the forms, you know the boring stuff like Name, address, age and then comes the fun part, family medical history, have your parents, grandparents suffered from any of the following?

High blood pressure
Diabetic
Elevated cholesterol levels
Heart disease

So if you want to skip A crap load of paper work, be an Adoptee
Come to think of it my Pedigree Dogs had more info than me.

hehe

you can skip the crap load of papers, but if your going to the Dr. it usually means a crap load more tests, and bills.

Now that I think about it, I had to fill out a questionaire when my husband changed insurance, because it asked those questions and I couldnt answer them...had to go to the Dr and everything...lol

All that, just for being adopted. *sigh*

It's kind of scary, isn't it? I'm 37 now, and I was hospitalized with a deep vein blood clot in my leg when I was 25 or so. I spend a great deal of time wondering what other medical surprises lay in store for me.

As far as forms go, I like to draw my own check box and write "Don't know, adopted. Your guess is as good as mine." next to it. *giggle*
