Cool Finally living a normal life.

Hi everyone. I'd just like you to know that life for me is great. I mean, being adopted is still a big thing in my life, but I'm willing to put it on the back burner a little bit. Being a 16-year-old adoptee is really tough at times, but with my parents, my girlfriend, and you guys helping me out, I think that my life is a lot better right now. I mean, I just went to the prom this past weekend, and I had a great time. But the most meaningful part of my night was after the prom, at the lock in, where my girlfriend and I just talked about my being adopted. It felt really nice to hear her say that she's supporting me 120%. It's great. And even though this is still a big part of my life, I think that it's not as important as having a good life where I am. I think that I'm fortunate to have moved here. I have a-parents who love me, I found an amazing girl that I wouldn't have found if I hadn't come here, and oh man, life's just amazing right now. I don't know if you want to hear all this, but my life is as close to perfect as it's going to get right now.

God bless,
Andy

I'm so happy for you!

Andy,
I'm so glad you posted that. You were on my mind and I was wondering how you were doing.
I think it's great that you have a special someone who supports you. That is one of God's greatest gifts, a "family" around us who thinks we are the tops.
You will probably have the need to search again in life, and that will come when you are ready. Until then, just enjoy the heck out of this time in your life. I have two boys, 18 and 16, one graduating in a couple days, and I want for them the same things. Enjoy, don't sweat the little things, and BE HAPPY!
You take care and if you ever need us,
We'll be here,
Hugs to you,
Beth
