Need advice from fellow adoptees

Hi, I am from Massachussetts and I was adopted as a baby. My adoptive family is very loving but I still have so many questions and feelings inside. I am now twenty years old and would really like to find and meet my birthmother. I know this isn't a very easy thing to do but it's still something I've wanted for a long time. I won't bore you with specifics now, I'll just say that I know a very limited amount of information about my birthmother. If anybody has advice for me on how to go about the search or even if you want to discuss things, that would be great!
Thanks, Please Reply.

You should sign up with ISSR. It is a national registry that unites if both parties have submitted info that matches. What kind of info do you have? It seems if you have a name that it goes much easier. Check all the web sites you can. Good Luck

how I was able to find my birthfamily

I know that laws vary from state to state but have you tried contacting the Department of Human Resources? They had all my non-identifying information and sent it to me. Then I paid them to do a search. It took almost a year for them to find my birthfamily but they did. I live in Georgia and it is pretty easy to get help here.
