I think that we have a deep knowing about these things. If you suspect that you are adopted, and the responses you get from family don't satisfy you on this deep, gut level that you are not, I would listen to your inner feelings. As far as searching goes, starting "blind" is where many adoptees begin. Damsel might have some good practical searching info. for you. Good luck to you.

I am in exactly the same predicament... I can appreciate your feelings and fears. I don't know why my parents would have Ben so close-lipped? I guess I will find out someday.
