I have posted this in a few locations on the board for maximum exposure, so if you've seen this before, please forgive me, but I think it can make a tremendous difference for all of us.

I recently had an exchange regarding discounted airfare rates from Northest/KLM Airlines for couples adopting in Eastern Europe. A domestic Amom brought up that no such offers are extended domestically. Since Sept. 11, 2001, times have been hard for U.S. air carriers, but there is something they can do to improve their business. I have initiated a petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/ADOPTION/petition.html that calls for all dometic and international air, rail and bus transportation services to facilitate at or below cost transportation services for all adoption travel, both domestic and international, so families can focus more of their personal resources on their children and less on the process of claiming and bringing their children home. The petition is directed to the President, pertinent members of his cabinet and all transportation carriers. Please consider adding your names to the petition and help spread the word through whatever means you have available. If we work together, we can all make it possible for more children to find the loving homes they deserve. Thanks for the support!
