Without getting into too many details, we are dealing with a situation that involves surgery, the sooner the better. I am hoping that may be a reason to waive...but all we can do is keep our fingers crossed.
Peanut will be 1 y.o. in two weeks. We have a visit planned to see his first mom that weekend. this will be our third visit since he can home with us at 2 days old, the last visit being just before Christmas. I'm wondering how hard this one will be for his first mom and if there's anything we can do to make it easier. We always love seeing her and are looking forward to it...but this one falls...

I'm new to this forum but just now starting our homestudy process. I have a 2002 misdemeanor for disorderly conduct and have been asked to provide a police report. What I'm worried about is if this will cause my homestudy to be denied - it started out as an arrest for simple assault for domestic. (I'm not sure if the charge includes domestic but the report will mention it)

This guy was only with mom, for a few weeks,after he was born,then was hospitalized,wasn't expected to make it,but did.He ended up adopted by his first foster parents,but right away,he was a good at 3years old,but never seem to mind.I wonder if that area of the brain could have been damaged,by LSDor being deadly sick,as a newborn.
I only have adopted daughters, but I have a 16 year old biological son and my brother has a 15 year old daughter and a 9 year old daughter. This behavior is completely typical of them. I would take it as a great sign that she is comfortable with you and feels secure enough to yell at you.
