I am from Oklahoma but my experiance might help. Call the courthouse and find out who the judge is that can grant your petition for the original birth certificate. Go the his chambers and fill out the petition. You will then meet with the judge who will ask why you want it released. Be honest and hopefully he or she will do it. In this manner I located not only my birth mother but my father who my mother married. A full-blood brother and sister and a host of other relatives in only a week. God Bless and good luck.
