Message from the Moderator Regarding This Reported Post: I realize that to many here, this line of questioning is offensive, but you have to understand, its also legitimate. I think it is vitally important that questions such as those asked by the original poster, be asked and answered prior to signing on the dotted line, accepting a referral and bringing the child home. Why, you might ask? Some of you may recall recent threads regarding disrupted Guatemalan adoptions…if asking this question keeps at least ONE disruption from taking place, then it ok with the Moderating Team.

Asking questions, even hard ones, are part of starting the process…keep in mind that folks that generally come here to ask questions have little to now information on the process and flaming them for asking questions they generally have (including the appearance questions), is not acceptable.
