Just wanted to thank you guys for the input. We did have an adoption party with about 50 people. We did it in a princess theme since that what she is.
( ha ha) We held it at the park so that the kids could play. I had almost finished her scrapbook but took it anyway so everyone could see how she had grown since she came to live with us 2 years before. My employer threw us a party also. So we celebrated 2 weekends in a row. She loved it and we got a good start on her college fund!
