school nurses

I can tell you an even better one on a school nurse. Several years ago we had a teen age girl in 8 th grade. Received a call from the nurse that we had to take this girl to the doctor right away. She was complaining of her arm hurting and her fingers were turning blue. She says I am watching them turn bluer all the time. I called the doctor of the emergency and my husband picked her up and took her right straight to the doctor. His nurse took one look and her hands, went and got an alcohol swab and wiped the blue off her hands. She had on new pants and the color was coming off on her hands. Last year she sent another home from school telling me she has foot and mouth disease. It looked like poison ivy to me, but then I am only a mother. The doctor was not in, the next day she was better, so I sent her back to school. They made me come and pick her up that she was not allowed to be in school for 3 days. It was poison ivy. I also survived the first week. Received call from the teacher that the third grader was not turning in his homework and she had already made him move his desk. po
