my husband and I adopted a foster child when he was almost 2 years old. we were his foster parents and got him into our home at the age of 10 months. after much time, effort and prayer, he was legally granted to us by the Harris County court system in Houston, Texas. He is 21 now and would like to contact his birth mother whose name at the time was Diane Lynch and she was 19 years old and pregnant again in 1981. Our son was known as Larry Patrick Lynch and we changed his name at the time of adoption to Patrick Arlie Smith.
