WOW--that is hard to believe! Were you given an explanation? The one thing that caught us by surprise was the turn around time for birth certificates (long form). We were told two weeks but it was closer to six--yikes
! However, if we submitted the applications in person, we would have them in about one week. So guess what we did? We now have an extra set of birth certificates
